Gary Cleary is the principal of the firm. He was
first admitted as a lawyer in 1983 and initially undertook
litigation, legislative drafting and general advising work for State
Government Departments before moving to the Commonwealth Director of
Public Prosecutions in 1985 where he was involved exclusively in
criminal prosecutions. In 1987 he commenced practice at Ettalong
Beach and in 1990 the firm opened a branch office at West Gosford.
Mark Finlay is Gary’s associate. He was admitted
to practice in 2001. He holds a Bachelor of Laws, a Bachelor of
Economics, and a Diploma in Legal Practice, all from the University
of Newcastle. He practised primarily in defendant personal injury
litigation before moving to general practice in 2002. He moved to
the Central Coast to join Gary in 2004
